Key expert 1: Team Leader

• Qualifications and skills:  
  • Master's Degree in natural resource management or similar relevant fields;
  • Ability to present credible findings derived from evidence and putting conclusions and recommendations supported by the findings;
• General Professional Requirements:
  • 6 years of experience in evaluating WASH, environmental/climate change projects;
  • 6 years relevant work experience in programme management; monitoring and evaluation experience building on the results-based management approach;
  • Understanding of the following areas of climate change, adaptation, WASH, environment;
  • Familiarity with approaches to development in small communities in Pacific remote area;
• Specific Professional Requirements:
  • Specific knowledge and understanding of the organizational and institutional context of urban basic services/ WASH;
  • Specialized knowledge of projects or programmes in the field of urban basic services, water, sanitation, hygiene and community engagement;
  • Anthropological background in island communities of Micronesia.
