The EU has been the main donor in the field of VET reform in Armenia since 2003 and recently through the Sector Policy Support Programme, which also cover support to VET development. The current Budget Support Programme “Better Qualifications for Better Jobs” seeks to assist Armenia to improve the efficiency of its labor market and the employability of its workforce with a particular emphasis on agricultural employment.

The main objective is to provide support for the implementation of the “Better qualifications for better jobs” Budget Support Programme and the specific objective is to strengthen the institutional capacities of the institutions involved to properly implement the national employment strategy, assist in enhancing cooperation with employers, provide better services to jobseekers and develop VET quality assurance system.
