The 11th European Development Fund EDF action focuses mainly on the construction of a Sewerage Network System and Wastewater Treatment in Cole Bay (Sint Maarten). It aims to support the 11th European Development Fund (EDF). The action will correspond to the construction of a Sewerage Network System, House Connections, Trunk Line, joint Wastewater Treatment plant and Discharge Outlet (Sea and Lagoon). The shared related common facilities (i.e. wastewater treatment plant) will be co-financed through the ERDF, as well as by Saint-Martin (French government) and the Government of Sint Maarten.

 The project has two main objectives:

• On one hand, the 11th European Developmend Fund (EDF) needs to be finalized with the support to the cooperation partners (Sint Maarten and Saint-martin) in order to implement it in a coordinated manner with INTERREG Saint-Martin.
• On the other hand, following the construction of a shared wastewater treatment plant, a joint management plan has to be prepared in order to ensure a coordinated management of the plant and the related infrastructure.
